Sub-Component (lab): Characterization of Faecal Sludge at Lahan Municipality
Objectives: To perform faecal sludge characterization on the basis of specific parameters for designing a treatment plant.
Project Accomplishments
Faecal sludge samples from different sources such as households, hotels, etc. collected by desludging tankers were tested at laboratory for analysis. The data generated on physico-chemical and bacteriological characteristics of the sludge is vital for designing a treatment plant.
