Description EcoConcern completed the 20-days training to lab operator of Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) of Godawari, Kailali and Sukhlaphanta, Kanchapur. The training was provided at Soil, Water and Air Testing (SWAT) laboratory located at Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The scope of training included:

• Overview of lab operation procedures including preparation of chemicals, reagents, use of machinery equipment for laboratory testing
• Analyze wastewater parameters such as BOD, COD, TS, TSS, VS, VSS, pH, EC, Temperature, Discharge, Sludge Moisture Content, Sludge Volume Index (SVI), Total Coliform and E. coli
• Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for lab operation
• Maintenance and calibration of lab equipment
• Data reporting and recording mechanism
