Description On site or Non –Sewered Sanitation System is the major problem of Urbanizing Godawari municipality. The municipality lacks a proper fecal sludge management practice. Majority of the population dispose their excreta directly into sewer lines and ultimately in rivers.

The Child Protection Centres and Services (CPCS) in Godawari, Ward-3, Godawari Municipality, is a Child Protection Agency that assists children who are at risk and in street situations. CPCS aims to works for a society where all children are respected, valued and protected. In addition, CPCS is concerned about the organization's fecal waste management as they lack on /off site sanitation. To address this issue, installation of Eco-Septic tanks in the area would allow for proper sludge utilization and promote decentralized sludge treatment, promoting water, sanitation, and hygiene on a community level. Moreover, this strategy is also a sustainable method of recharging the water table through percolation of treated effluent into the soil which solves the problem of water scarcity.

Objective:
The main objective was to install RTI Eco Septic Tanks and sedimentation tanks as per the proposed design for Child Protection Centres and Services (CPCS), located at Godawari, Ward -3, Godawari Municipality.
